Exactly one month after New Years Eve the Financial Times releases its list of the best MBA Rankings and programs worldwide and the results are, well, short of surprises. Just as last year, London Business School tops the list with the only difference that this time it has to share the top spot with Wharton (last year Wharton came 2nd). Harard Business School in turn ranks third again. Wharton’s returned ascend to number one can be explained through increased salary figures.
Generally, the salary analysis shows recovering salary levels in comparison to the weighted salaries of 2009. The most popular and highest-paying sector is in Investment Banking with an annual average salary of $160,000 followed by consultancy with an average of roughly $140,000.
